welcome
Hey there!
I'm Brianna Bauch (pronounced
Baak, like the composer).
I'm an Equity actor and singer based out of Danbury, Connecticut...
and this bio is as short as I am!
Thanks for stopping by, take a look around!
about
My friends call me Bri
I was born and raised in the small town of Sandy Hook, Connecticut. I developed my love of performing in the early years of my life, as I dressed up in my favorite pink sequin boa dress and sang way too loudly into my karaoke machine. My adolescent years were spent singing in the church choir, doing Colorguard, and finding every opportunity to make those around me laugh.
After the tragedy of 12/14/12, something inside of me broke.
Persons all around the world were sending their condolences, thoughts, and prayers but the devastation felt in our community was tangible.
In the summer of 2013, many theatre professionals came to Newtown to help aid in the community's healing. They put up a truly magical production of Seussical the Musical that I played Gertrude McFuzz in, and I witnessed first-hand the unexplainable power of music, theatre, and the arts.
This experience brought me invaluable personal healing, and it confirmed the notion that theatre could change a life, because it did indeed change mine. That summer solidified my love of storytelling and sparked the beginning of my career.
What could be a better purpose in life than helping heal others (and yourself) through art?
28 years young, I am a hardworking Equity actor and singer with a fervent passion for performing.
I refer to myself as a "character ingenue," as I bring my own bubbly and spunky personality to every role that I bring to life.
I am 5 feet of positive energy and humor!
xoxo, Bri

& what's next
what's new
I recently played Sue Snell in Carrie the Musical at TheatreZone in Naples, FL!
'Saw Carrie last night and OMG, what a heartwrenching and powerful experience. Keeley Pendergrass owns the role of Carrie in every way, but Brianna Bauch is Miss Poignant in the role of the girl who wants to make things right by Carrie, but unwittingly sets in motion a tragedy of epic proportions."
-Audience Reviews and Remarks
"... Sue immediately regrets it and tries her best to make it up to Carrie, though her choices lead to some horrific results. Bauch does a lovely job as Sue - she's earnest and hopeful and does her best to be nice to Carrie.

I recently played Lorraine and served as the Dance Captain in
Jersey Boys at Music Theatre of Connecticut!
"In the role of Lorraine, a Detroit reporter who begins dating Valli after he splits with his first wife Mary, Brianna Bauch plays this part and others with crystal clear refinement, insight, sexiness and rattle."
